Vodafone 3G Broadband Vodem Now in Store
New Zealanders everywhere will be moving like never before as they snap up the first shipment of Vodafone 3G Broadband
devices, including the new Vodem, which hit stores today for the first time.
As promised at the launch of the upgraded 3G network on 12 September, Vodafone customers can now get their hands on a
range of different 3G broadband devices that provide a super fast connection while at home or on the go.
Vodafone 3G broadband coverage extends to its entire 3G footprint. In Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch the speed is
up to 58 times faster than dial-up which provides a customer experience faster than entry level fixed line broadband.
Vodafone 3G broadband is a real shot in the arm for New Zealanders, says Vodafone General Manager Kursten Shalfoon.
“Vodafone 3G broadband gives our customers the freedom to move around the house, the city and world - all while
remaining connected.
“Even more importantly, Vodafone 3G broadband does not rely on unbundling the local loop, which will not come to
fruition until at least mid to late 2007. If you want to get the fastest connection, now is the time to talk to your
Vodafone retailer,” said Shalfoon.
Vodafone’s pricing plans offer the benefits of mobility and speed at a very affordable price to frustrated dial up and
fixed line broadband users.
Prices start at $29.95 for 200MB or 1GB for $49.95. For an additional $10 per month, customers will receive ‘bundle
insurance’ - a data cap extension for those months they hit or by-pass their limit.
