Auckland Zoo expresses sorrow
Auckland Zoo expresses their sorrow and shock over the death of Steve Irwin. Auckland Zoo curator, Brooke Noonan states, “Steve Irwin’s death has left us all shocked. He was a passionate ambassador for wildlife conservation and set a benchmark for us all.
He took the conservation message into the homes of millions of people, and for that we are all extremely grateful.” Auckland Zoo has been receiving tributes for Steve Irwin, which are being passed on to Australia Zoo in Queensland
