NCD's Joint-Development Partner Receives Tech Award
Nano Cluster Devices' joint-development partner, SiliconPipe Inc was recently awarded the 2005 Excellence in Technology Award in the field of system-level interconnect solutions for its innovative Novias technology.
The award is given each year by Frost & Sullivan, a leader in global-growth consulting, to the company that has pioneered the development and introduction of an innovative technology into the market; a technology that has either impacted or has the potential to impact several market sectors.
NCD began its relationship with US-based SiliconPipe Inc in June 2005 to jointly develop novel conducting structures for use in high-speed semiconductor packaging and metallic-based interconnect designs. SiliconPipe identified key application areas where NCD's technology can be used to create circuit elements from self-assemble atomic clusters.
