Personnel changes on Landcare Research board
The Crown Research Institute Landcare Research has a new board director and a new deputy chair.
Joining the board as a director is Graeme Boyd, Chief Executive of the natural health product company Comvita Limited. In seven years he has trebled the size of Comvita, which is now a public company with sales of $30m.
Mr Boyd’s previous roles include general manager of ICI Adhesives and Resins and ICI New Zealand. He currently serves on the boards of the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic and Extracts New Zealand and has a keen interest in sustainable business.
Mr Boyd replaces prominent Marlborough businessman Julian Raine, whose term has ended.
Mr Raine’s successor in the role of deputy chair is company director and chartered accountant Anne Urlwin.
