INDUSTRY REPORT POSITIONS SYMANTEC IN THE LEADER QUADRANT IN EMAIL SECURITY
Email Security Vendors Evaluated Based On Ability To Execute And Completeness Of Vision

Quadrant for E-mail Security Boundary, 1H05’ report . In addition to spam filtering, the report focused on email
connection management, value-added antivirus, email intrusion prevention and delivery models.
Symantec has recently been positioned in the leader quadrant in Gartner Magic Quadrant reports representing the
following key markets: enterprise antivirus, managed security services, software distribution, network intrusion
