Symantec Releases New Version Of Network Intrusion Detection Software Solution
Symantec Network Security 4.0 Offers Comprehensive Intrusion Detection to Protect Against Network Threats

network intrusion detection software solution, Symantec Network Security 4.0, which provides multi-gigabit intrusion
detection, scalable centralised management and advanced security intelligence to protect against threats and intrusions.

to relevant information, providing attack awareness without data overload. Symantec Network Security 4.0 also now
provides a comprehensive policy management feature, which allows organisations to quickly and easily tailor protection
based on specific business needs using one of the predefined detection policies or creating custom policies.
Customers have the ability to individually control logging and auto-response behaviour per threat based on threat
category, severity, intent, confidence rating and profile of protected resources.
