Taxweb® Aims To Revolutionize Small Business Bookkeeping And Tax Return Filing In 2005
TAXWEB® offers a one stop solution for agents and their clients that is simpler, more flexible and cheaper than anything currently available.
TAXWEB® acts as a hub that links small businesses, non profit organizations, etc with their accountant and IRD electronically without requiring proprietary software.
They can automate their bookkeeping, automatically provide the figures to their accountant and file their GST Returns all online from any computer in any location at any time without having to visit their agent.
Their accountant can also use TAXWEB® to code their client’s data themselves, if preferred, and file their Tax Returns. They can also identify problems early and advise their clients before they are penalized.
This makes the entire process more efficient and at a price that is now affordable to SMEs and smaller tax practitioners without tying them into expensive proprietary software or long term contracts.
Expatriate kiwis with tax obligations here will, for the first time, be able to file their 2005 NZ Tax Returns from overseas and avoid sending important documents by post or attempting to get IRD to send them paper returns.
Landlords will also be able to complete a simple rental profit and loss report (IR3R) for their properties and electronically file their own 2005 tax returns, should they chose not to use an accountant.
TAXWEB® is providing free cashbook access until April 2005 to allow users to gain an understanding of the system without having to make a financial commitment.
In 1998 TAXWEB® was the first to offer direct electronic return filing for taxpayers in NZ. It is still the only company providing this capability apart from IRD.
