New Year Signals Launch Of New Look Ford Web Site
AUCKLAND, New Zealand, 21 January 2005
Ford New Zealand has welcomed in the new year with the launch of their new look web site – www.ford.co.nz.
The new web site was developed in conjunction with WDG, an Australian based firm who is overseeing the re-development of Ford web sites in New Zealand, Australia and South Africa.
"The new web site is easier to navigate, is loaded full of content and has a fresh new look to it," said Integrated Marketing Manager, Don Leong.
"It also allows people to thoroughly research any new Ford, provides the opportunity to request brochures and test drives and also has a comprehensive list of dealer contact details – as well as listing special offers and deals."
The Ford web site was one of the most popular web sites amongst the motoring industry last year, and Don Leong is keen to see that trend continue.
"It has taken considerable time and effort to revamp the site, and we are very happy with the new look," said Mr. Leong.
"In 2004, the Ford web site received more than a quarter of a million visitors – we're confident that the new site will stimulate interest in the Ford brand, and we will see upwards of this figure in 2005."
