FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
De Bono and Heller Launch Thinking Managers Website
Wednesday November 10, 2004 - Two of the world's leading business thinkers, Edward de Bono and Robert Heller, have joined forces to create a website, http://www.thinkingmanagers.com, that gives managers of all enterprises, large and small, unique insight and advice on every aspect of modern management, covering the whole process of concept, planning and realisation.
http://www.thinkingmanagers.com has been in preparation for many months, during which time it has grown to many thousands of pages of articles and books by Edward de Bono and Robert Heller. Like the authors, http://www.thinkingmanagers.com is dedicated to helping managers and their organisations to survive and prosper in a climate of accelerating change.
The site grew out of a long collaboration in the authorship of Letter to Thinking Managers. This monthly newsletter, now available through the site, quickly won subscribers all over the world, from a great range of organisations. By supplying an indexed and encyclopaedic version of the Letters, http://www.thinkingmanagers.com provides unmatched and comprehensive access to the key areas of management thought and action.
Each issue leads with Edward de Bono's latest teachings on creativity, innovation and thinking techniques. He is world-famous for his invention of lateral thinking, and for the training that he masterminds worldwide. De Bono asserts that creativity can and must be learnt in the vital interests of performance and progress in today's business world.
De Bono's articles and many books show how the use of thinking as a practical skill helps business people and organisations to exploit what they have and to create the new ideas that will revolutionise their futures.
Robert Heller has been developing his knowledge of management theory and practice ever since founding the magazine Management Today in 1966. Like Edward de Bono, he is the author of many highly acclaimed books, starting with the famous The Naked Manager, and including most recently the best-selling Essential Managers series.
Using a knowledge base rivalled by few, and drawing on acute powers of observation, Heller provides brilliantly concise analyses of contemporary managers' real-world problems and clear, practical solutions to their dilemmas and needs - especially in planning the future, and turning plans into reality.
The already large and rising numbers of visitors to http://www.thinkingmanagers.com during the building phase testify to its high relevance and interest. Visitors have the opportunity to sign up for a free newsletter, or to join the inner group of monthly subscribers to Letter to Thinking Managers.
Both De Bono and Heller work as speakers and consultants for businesses and other organisations around the world. On http://www.thinkingmanagers.com and their free newsletter, visitors can click into that same advice and insight whenever they want - and for free.
