Conference Focusses On Making High Priced Land Pay Its Way
Farmers, scientists and industry representatives are gathering to address farming practices for both sustainability and profitability at this year’s New Zealand Grasslands Association Annual Conference.
Organised in conjunction with Fert Research and the Agronomy Society of New Zealand, the Conference includes a wealth of presentations covering such topics as Nitrogen fertiliser use, calcium supplementation and a variety of other topics that will have wide appeal to all within the agriculture industry.
Fert Research Technical Director, Dr Hilton Furness, will chair the Fert Research sponsored session, which will include presentations on; Animal production, nitrogen fertiliser use on dry hill country, and an analysis of high, average and low-input dairy farming systems.
