Showcase 2003 Where and When
Showcase 2003, the largest and most successful IT trade show in New Zealand, is now just weeks away.
This year the level and range of new IT equipment exhibited will be unprecedented. Leading IT vendors are more convinced than ever that Showcase is the event to demonstrate their latest offerings, resulting in around 50 vendors exhibiting and committing teams of sales and product specialists.
Organisers Tech Pacific say there is now no doubt that Showcase is the major channel event. “Showcase has grown considerably each year, to the extent that vendors are investing considerably in the event, making it extremely worthwhile for resellers to attend,” says Tech Pacific Managing Director Tony Butler.
This year’s theme Discover the next generation of Technology applies to both the home and business environment, covering a wide range of categories from digital communications to security solutions, printers, PC’s, notebooks, digital photography and architectural software.
Products will be set up in real solution environments, building on the success of last year’s “digital home” - a working environment that exhibits the latest digital technologies for the home. Several new products will be launched at this event.
Technology and products aside, Showcase organisers believe the real benefit of attending Showcase is to meet the key industry people face to face. “The commitment by vendors is such that there will be large numbers of top executives and technical people on hand to meet and discuss business – it really is quite a unique opportunity,” says Tony Butler.
