AUCKLAND, 11 April 2003 – EMS-Global Ltd, New Zealand’s leading provider of secure Internet connectivity services, has established a strategic partnership with Security-Assessment.com Ltd, a specialist Information Security consultancy that provides services to businesses in Australasia and the United Kingdom. In particular, Security-Assessment.com ensures the information security practices of clients comply with the ISO17799 standard, the international Code of Practice for Information Security Management.
According to Waynne Dartnall, CEO and Founder of EMS-Global, the new partnership will allow EMS-Global to focus on its internationally successful flagship product, EMS Cortex, while offering more enhanced security services to clients through Security-Assessment.com. “We have experienced rapid growth with our EMS Cortex offering both in Australasia and Europe, signing up service providers such as British Telecom and NTL,” said Mr Dartnall. “It now makes sense to focus our energies on this core area of business.”
“The opportunities for our separate security offerings are such that a strategic partnership with a specialist firm will greatly assist EMS-Global in maintaining market leadership. Security-Assessment.com will enhance our portfolio of security offerings with additional products and advanced capabilities,” he said.
