Industrial Research Welcomes Acting Chair

INDUSTRIAL RESEARCH LTD WELCOMES ACTING CHAIR
Industrial Research Ltd welcomes the appointment of Liz Coutts as acting chair, following the resignation of Ross Armstrong. Ms Coutts has been a director of Industrial Research since 1998 and is the chair of the Ministry of Health’s Audit and Finance Committee, deputy chair of Public Trust and holds various directorships with Skellmax Industries, Sport & Recreation New Zealand and Pharmac.
“Ms Coutts has had a wealth of experience in both the private and public sector and we welcome her input as acting chair of Industrial Research,” says Nigel Kirkpatrick, Chief Executive, Industrial Research Ltd.
“For us it’s business as usual - creating value for New Zealand through the commercial application of science,” says Mr Kirkpatrick. “We’re steadily building on our international reputation for quality science and technology development and as acting chair Ms Coutts will be very much a part of this process,” says Mr Kirkpatrick.
Ms Coutts will be acting chair from Tuesday, 29th October 2002, until a permanent chairperson is appointed.
