NZ Software Innovator Dictates To Us Market
An innovative New Zealand software developer has made significant inroads into the lucrative US transcription and
dictation market with its Internet-based digital dictation and workflow management solution WinScribe.
Auckland based company WinScribe Inc. has signed a long-term sales partnership agreement with Kinetx Healthcare
Information Systems: a healthcare marketing group with offices throughout the United States. This allows Kinetx to
market WinScribe's solution across the United States, which is worth over NZ$8 million annually in sales to WinScribe.
The agreement means tapping into an existing nationwide healthcare infrastructure, covering support for hospitals,
physician offices, acute care, home care and Integrated Delivery Networks under the Kinetx umbrella.
WinScribe Inc has been a developer of digital dictation and computer telephony software solutions since 1989, and its
long-standing reputation has seen it undergo recent rapid growth. Its overseas expansion in particular, has grown by
over 100% within the last 6 months.
"As with any market, an impediment to sales growth has been the availability of capital" says Dale Matravers,
International Business Development Manager for WinScribe Inc. "WinScribe's sales growth has come about with minimal
investment, but additional capital will allow us to expand even more" adds Mr Matravers.
WinScribe Inc. is considering options to raise capital, to venture further into the US transcription and dictation
market that is worth an estimated US$15 billion per annum.
