Governor-General to receive report on GM

Governor-General to receive report on genetic modification.
The members of the Royal Commission on Genetic Modification will call on the Governor-General, the Honourable Dame Silvia Cartwright, at 3:30 pm on Friday 27 July, to present their report.
The Royal Commission was established on 8 May 2000. It consists of the Right Honourable Sir Thomas Eichelbaum, Chair, and Dr Jacqueline Allan, Dr Jean Fleming and the Rt. Rev. Richard Randerson.
There will be an embargo on the report until Monday 30 July, when it will be made public by the Prime Minister, the Right Honourable Helen Clark.
While there will be no opportunities for interviews at the Government House ceremony, the media and photographers are welcome to attend. Those doing so should arrive at the office entrance of Government House by 3:15 pm.
