New Tools For Net Name Prospecting
New Internet company Pdom, launched today, has developed unique tools to help people find their ideal net name.
Robert Wiles, Founder and CEO of Pdom says Pdom's world first multi-lingual name population engine and sophisticated
registration search wizard enables almost anyone, anywhere to find the shared population of his or her name, and
discover the online demand, availability and potential value of that name.
"As more people go online, the scramble for personal domain names becomes more urgent," Wiles says. "People want a Net
name that is recognizably their own.
Pdom, which focuses exclusively on the Personal domain market, does far more than locate personal names, Wiles says. The
company also offers a listing service - "a trading floor" - for people who want to buy or sell desirable names.
"Our data covers all the countries which share the world's major language groups," Wiles says. "The English-speaking
countries, Spanish-speaking countries, China, Japan, the Koreas, Russia, India, Arab states and an increasing number of
European countries."
Pdom's global name population search engine generates data on the numbers of people in any one country who share a name.
There is even more detail for the USA, where for any requested name, it gives all the combinations of first and last
names including initials.
Pdom's search and registration wizard determines the availability of various permutations of a personal name that can
then be registered directly online with Pdom as a .com,. net or.org.
Pdom's PDN trading site, the world's largest, allows customers to search through tens of thousands of PDNs listed for
sale and if they wish, to make an offer and negotiate the purchase of their desired PDN.
"Virtually all first names and last names of the world's cultures have already been claimed," Wiles says. "The good news
is that combinations of names are still available but going fast. We can help find the ideal name for you to register or
we can help you negotiate to buy it. But you had better be quick."
