Compaq ProLiant Servers To Support Latest Intel Processor
AUCKLAND, March 28, 2001 - Compaq Computer New Zealand has announced support for the new Intel Pentium III Xeon 900 MHz
processor on its next generation 8-processor and 4-processor industry-standard ProLiant servers.
Available in New Zealand from late April 2001, Compaq anticipates a rapid take-up of the increased performance offered
by the 8-processor ProLiant 8000 and ProLiant 8500 and the 4-processor ProLiant ML570 and ProLiant DL580.
"The next generation ProLiant servers will provide superior solutions for the high-end server-based computing required
