NZ NetGuide is the winner in the latest AC Neilsen research figures on magazine readership confirming the leading Net
title continues to be one of the country’s fastest growing magazines. For the second year running, NetGuide's readership
growth has exceeded 40% bucking a trend which has seen many magazine titles drop.
NetGuide's publisher Phil Ryan says that with a monthly readership of 121,000 NetGuide is "easily the most trusted
source of Internet information in New Zealand."
He said the magazine's latest sales continued to break records. The magazine's combined December / January issue broke
all previous shop sales records - up 23% on the previous record and 47% up on last years Christmas issue which was
itself at the time a record.
General Manager of magazine distributor Gordon & Gotch, Sarah Sandley said she would be surprised if there was any other local magazine growing at a similar rate and
described NetGuide's success as "astonishing".
Mr Ryan said his New Zealand-owned company was thrilled at the amazing results which meant four years of hard work were
paying off. "We will be working hard this year to build on our very loyal readership base and continue to enjoy the
strong support from both readers and advertisers."
