HOT SHOT SOFTWARE IN U.S SHOOTOUT
Innovative software from Compudigm International, which allows managers to see the big picture at a glance, has snapped up a place in the finals of The Data Warehousing Institute’s (TDWI) Pioneering Products Shootout in the US.
Compudigm is one of four finalists in the Data Visualisation category, with the contest taking place in California on March 1. At the contest (or shoot-out) Andrew Cardno, Compudigm’s CEO, will be required to give a 25 minute demo of a real-life scenario using seePOWER, and then answer judges’ questions.
TDWI’s Pioneering Products shootout is designed to highlight leading-edge products in emerging technology areas, and to showcase latest market innovations to data warehousing and business intelligence companies.
“The Data Visualisation category is designed to show how these technologies are making it easier for a broader spectrum of users to analyse data,” says Wayne Eckerson, Director of Research and Education for TDWI. “Compudigm’s seePOWER was selected as a finalist because it reflects TDWI’s criteria for a pioneering product, including innovation, usefulness, value, functionality and ease of use.”
seePOWER enables users to analyse and understand information easily and instantly. Its technology is applicable to any industry that handles large volumes of data.
Compudigm President, Andrew Cardno, says that despite the apparent simplicity of the software ‘it turns stacks of figures and charts into highly visual maps to show levels of activity taking place - what’s working and what’s not’ , it is one of the most highly sophisticated advanced key performance indicator analysis tools around.
SeePOWER is being used as a management business analysis tool in casinos in Australia and the US, and in telecommunications. -ends-
