AUCKLAND, Monday November 27, 2000– Leading Internet Integrator gen-i limited (formerly Wang New Zealand) today announced that it has expanded its management team with the appointment of Don Gellert as Operations and Supply Chain Manager. The appointment reflects gen-i’s new operating direction and will see Don assume responsibility for managing both operational and strategic issues associated with the business’ supply chain process in Australia and New Zealand.
In taking on the role, Don will primarily be responsible for streamlining the company’s entire procurement process to ensure cost efficiencies and performance improvement goals are realised for both gen-i and its growing customer base.
“My role is to primarily enhance gen-i's supply chain, while maintaining the high level of service and customisation for individual clients' procurement and asset management requirements,” says Gellert.
