AUCKLAND, November 21, 2000 - PeopleSoft now delivers its comprehensive, pure internet supply chain solution in a box.
Today PeopleSoft announced PeopleSoft Supply Chain in a Box, the industry’s first pre-assembled pure internet supply chain solution which can be rapidly deployed.
PeopleSoft Supply Chain in a Box delivers seamlessly integrated applications for Customer Management, eCommerce, Order Fulfillment, Planning, and Supply Chain Analytics. The pre-assembled solution is architected for rapid eBusiness deployment. This gives businesses a full-scale, pure internet customer-to-supplier solution without the complexity and cost found in other traditional supply chain products on the market.

Delivering Realtime Value from Customers to Suppliers
PeopleSoft Supply Chain in a Box automates businesses from customer to supplier, beginning with customer management functions such as managing sales leads all the way through planning, filling orders, and collecting cash. Integrated customer functions for full customer management include checking the status of orders, account balances, payment history, and ordering products all through the PeopleSoft Customer Portal. Sales people can also call up accurate product configuration and delivery promise dates from handheld devices.
Supply Chain in a box delivers integrated internet Supplier management applications such as sourcing, supply planning, account settlement, and product lifecycle management, all at a lower cost – delivered through the Supplier Portal. Also integrated out of the box is eProcurement, allowing one-stop shopping for both suppliers and internal buyers by through the central supply chain. All of the integrated customer and supplier functions come with full multi-currency and multi-lingual capabilities as well as integration with PeopleSoft MarketPlace, a comprehensive B2B trading network.
