PeopleSoft 8 Pure Internet Applications Ship on
IBM’s DB2 Universal Database
AUCKLAND - October 24, 2000 – PeopleSoft today announced that PeopleSoft 8 pure internet applications are available on
IBM’s DB2 Universal Database.
The pure internet eBusiness solution, which began shipping across Asia Pacific earlier this month, delivers enhanced
performance, scalability, reliability and customer care at a lower cost of ownership. The solution is available on a
variety of platforms, including Windows 2000 and NT, AIX and OS/390, Linux, HP-UX, and Sun Solaris.

Launched in July, PeopleSoft 8 marks the largest technological advance in enterprise software in more than a decade.
eBusiness software with no code on the client, the suite includes Supply Chain Management, Human Resource Management and
Financials applications.
