Change of venue for Formal Hearings
WELLINGTON – 12 October 2000: The Royal Commission on Genetic Modification’s first week of formal hearings will be held
in the Quality Hotel’s Challenge Hall, 355 Willis Street, Wellington.
The Commission has altered its venue for the first week of formal hearings to accommodate the installation of fire

“Interested persons”, their counsel and expert witnesses appearing before the Commission have been directly advised of
the change in venue.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause,” says Executive Officer Kay Hewitt.
From week two onwards, the hearings will be held at Level 11, Dalmuir House, 114 The Terrace, Wellington.
