Auckland – 28 September 2000 – Auckland based Vending Technologies Ltd, the leading supplier and operator of

Her appointment comes at a time of very strong growth for the company which has developed world-leading software that

international brand marketing. He is currently chairman of Wools of New Zealand Ltd and Ocean Design Group Ltd. His
directorships include Land Corporation Ltd, Kapiti Cheeses Ltd, Pinot Noir 2001 Ltd, New Zealand Tennis Inc and
Gallagher Group Ltd.
Mr Janes has held a number of strategic senior management positions, most recently as chief executive of the New Zealand
Game Industry Board from 1991 to 1996. In this role he developed and implemented a successful industry strategic
marketing programme, including the Cervena brand initiative. Prior to this, he worked for the International Wool
Secretariat from 1981 to 1991, as the London-based Director of International Marketing from 1985 to 1991.
Ms Coutts has previously held a number of senior management positions including Chief Executive of the Caxton Group and
Carters, the building supplies division of Carter Holt Harvey Ltd.
Ms Coutts says she is looking forward to working with the Board to ensure key milestones are met in the company’s
expansion activities. “Vending Technologies is positioning itself to be at the forefront of exponential growth now

capabilities to grow sustainable capital returns that will drive future growth.”
