MEDIA RELEASE
Orewa. 15 November 1999
“Of all the parties contesting this General Election, only the Natural Law Party has proven solutions to the problem of crime,” says that party’s leader, Mr Bryan Lee.
“Crime in any society is yet another reflection of the collective consciousness of that society and unless it is tackled at that fundamental level, efforts to control it will be inadequate.”
Mr Lee said that voluminous research on what scientists call “the Maharishi Effect” had demonstrated beyond any argument that group Yogic Flying reversed negative social indicators and replaced them with positive indicators and in no area was this demonstration more powerful than in its effect on crime.
“What is now needed is the establishment of Yogic Flying groups on a permanent basis,” said Mr Lee. “This must involve governments providing the means to achieve this, which can be done for just a minuscule proportion of state spending.
“In this way, the spectacular results which have been shown by temporary groups of Yogic Flyers can be entrenched and maintained permanently, removing the huge stress and appalling financial cost of crime.”
