“History demonstrates that military power alone can never guarantee a nation’s security,” said Mr Bryan Lee, leader of the Natural Law Party. “All those nations that gained territory and empire through military aggression eventually lost those gains and in many instances were themselves defeated and occupied.”
But a Natural Law government would not walk away from collective security commitments entered into with other countries and particularly with Australia, Mr Lee continued. Instead it would add a vital ingredient to its defence strategy -- the establishment of a “prevention wing” in the armed forces.
“The role of the prevention wing, comprising a small proportion of regular service personnel, would be the permanent maintenance of coherence in collective consciousness through group Yogic Flying,” Mr Lee said.
“In taking this step, a Natural Law government would be utilising a principle well established in nature and found in many areas of the physical and biological sciences -- the ability of a small element of coherence in an otherwise incoherent field to extend its coherence across the entire field, once a trigger point for phase transition has been reached.
“This would create an invincible defence for the field by disallowing penetration by influences that otherwise would disrupt the field,” Mr Lee said.
