Libertarianz Advises Decent New Zealanders To Bury Guns
Peter Cresswell, Libertarianz Associate Spokesman for Firearms Deregulation, today advised NZers to bury their guns to avoid the National Party gun grab announced in Parliament on Wednesday night.
The promise to implement the Thorp Report on disarming New Zealanders shows that the National Party are prepared to leave New Zealanders defenceless in the face of armed outlaws - who can be counted on to ignore the gun grab. "We say decent New Zealanders should ignore it as well, rather than leave themselves defenceless. Don't register your firearms," says Cresswell, "bury them - at least 6 feet underground (ensuring of course that at least one weapon is still easily to hand for self defence)."
Cresswell also advises New Zealanders to purchase restricted weapons quickly, before the Nats gun grab takes effect. "Expect to see gun sales boom - at least in the short term," he says.
When we see how eager NZ's police are to use their own firearms, one wonders why the state has been so swift to restrict New Zealanders' ablity to protect themselves. "They've banned pepper and mace sprays," he reminds us, "now they're grabbing the guns. One wonders as to their final goal."
