Trapping predators is not “Provincial Growth”
FEBRUARY 18 2019
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Responding to the announcement of $19.5 million in Provincial Growth Funding for predator control, New Zealand Taxpayers’ Union spokesman Louis Houlbrooke says:
“Regardless of its merits, conservation spending is not a ‘Provincial Growth’ initiative. Shane Jones seems to have completely run out of ideas for how to spend our money. He ought to pull the plug on the fund now, returning the leftovers to taxpayers.”
