Taxpayers’ Union responds to state sector salary legislation

Responding to the Government’s announcement of new legislation to boost the power of the State Services Commissioner in setting chief executives’ pay in the broader state sector, Taxpayers’ Union Executive Director Jordan Williams says:
“We welcome today’s announcement. Curbing excessive executive pay in the state sector is something we’ve been calling for for some years. We look forward to seeing the draft legislation later in the week.”
