Responding to Labour’s transport announcement this afternoon, Jordan Williams, Executive Director of the Taxpayers’ Union says:
“By 2020, the budget surpluses are expected to be $8.5 billion per year, but still politicians want to pile on more taxes that are unnecessary.”
“Right now, more than half what motorists pay at the pump is tax. At what level is enough, enough?”
