“This morning’s TV One Colmar Brunton poll shows that ACT's David Seymour will win Epsom," said ACT’s Campaign Manager Hon. Richard Prebble.
“The voters of Epsom have shown on three occasions that they are wise. They know how to vote tactically to re-elect a National Government.
“ACT expects David Seymour's election day vote to increase significantly from this poll.”
“There are plenty of other indicators that David Seymour will win in Epsom. He is the only candidate door knocking the whole electorate. David Seymour has won the Auckland Grammar straw poll with a 66% vote. The school straw poll has predicted the Epsom election result for the last few elections,” said Mr Prebble.
“The real significance of the Epsom poll result is that it shows votes for ACT will count.
“Voters all over the country can vote ACT with the full confidence their votes will go to re-electing a National Government and more importantly electing Jamie Whyte and a number of energetic ACT MPs with fresh thinking and new ideas.”
