No interest in Dotcom for Maori Party
The Maori Party has no interest in any discussions with Kim Dotcom or the Internet Party, says Maori Party president Naida Glavish.
"There is no benefit for te iwi Maori in aligning with sideline splinter parties.
“The Maori Party is first and foremost dedicated to benefits for te iwi Maori as an integral part of a happy, healthy and prosperous Aotearoa.
“We are clearly focused on that kaupapa, and as we have shown during the last two terms of Government, we can achieve that by being at the governance table where the decisions are made, as evidenced by gains for Maori in health, education, jobs and the wide-ranging benefits that are flowing from our flagship policy of Whanau Ora," said Ms Glavish.
