There is still time to do your census forms
The census isn’t over yet. If you haven’t completed your census forms, there is still time to do them online or on
paper.
“Collectors are now picking up millions of completed paper forms, but for anyone who has not completed a census form
there is still time,” General Manager of the 2013 Census Carol Slappendel said.
“The census website is still operational and online forms are still coming in. Census is compulsory so if you haven’t
completed your form yet you do need to do it.
“If you don’t have your paper forms and Internet Access Code, please contact 0800 CENSUS (0800 236 787) and we will get
them to you.
“If you have completed your forms online you can now relax and recycle your paper forms. If you have completed a paper
form please be aware collectors will be going door to door until March 17.
“Statistics NZ has had a fantastic response from the public so far, but we want to ensure that everyone who was in New
Zealand on census night 5 March 2013 is counted.
“The information collected is hugely important, as it’s used for health, education and transport decisions.”
