Political debate this evening on the Rainbow Warrior
This evening some of New Zealand’s top politicians will be taking part in a one-off debate in Wellington onboard the new Rainbow Warrior.
Russel Norman, co-leader of the Green Party, Grant Robertson, Deputy-leader and Environment spokesperson for the Labour Party and Nicky Wagner, Chair of the Local Government and Environment Committee will be discussing jobs, the economy and the opportunities clean energy offers the country.
The debate, chaired by business journalist Rod Oram, takes place the day after the release of a new report showing that New Zealand’s energy sector could give the economy a multi-billion dollar boost and create tens of thousands of new jobs.
If you’d like to come along to the debate tonight, do please drop me a line and I’ll make sure you’re on the guest list.
It will run from 6.15pm until 7.15pm, onboard the Rainbow Warrior at Queens Wharf.
