The New Zealand Defence Force will be on show in Cambridge on Friday 7 November with a recruitment expo at Memorial Park, Taylor Street.
High school students from the Waikato, Bay of Plenty and other regions will attend the day long event where they can see displays and talk with Navy, Army and Air Force recruiters. Trade and technical specialists, apprentice trades people and combatants will be in attendance demonstrating their skills.
The expo is part of Armistice in Cambridge, a large-scale event which runs from 7 - 9 November involving a military vehicle parade, warbird aerobatic displays, numerous military re-enactments and displays.
A special commemorative service to mark the 90th anniversary of Armistice Day will be held on Sunday 9 November, starting 10am at the Cambridge Cenotaph. Military and civilian dignitaries will be in attendance.
