Re-opening Peter Ellis case must be a priority.
Researcher Ross Francis has provided many key issues in the Peter Ellis case that must be addressed by the incoming government. ( http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/PO0811/S00050.htm) He also outlines that a review of the Peter Ellis case is favoured by Richard Worth (NATIONAL), Chris Finlayson (NATIONAL) and Rodney Hide (ACT)
Caring about an injustice suffered by an individual, such as Peter Ellis, is a fundamental tenet of a decent justice system, spokesperson for peterellis.org.nz Brian Robinson says.
Only politicians who understand such a tenet have the moral or ethical basis to adequately promote social justice initiatives affecting larger groups of the population.
