Te Tai Tokerau a Winner

Te Tai Tokerau a Winner
“Te Tai Tokerau looks set to be a winner if the Labour Government is re-elected for a historic fourth term,” says Labour Candidate Kelvin Davis.
At the Labour Party Campaign Launch in Auckland yesterday the Prime Minister described how as part of the Government’s plan to boost the economy we need to ‘tune the growth engines, not slow them down’ by bringing forward planned infrastructure spending. Part of that plan is to “bring forward the projected rail link to Marsden Point.”
Such a move would be an economic bonus for Te Tai Tokerau resulting in numerous employment and commercial opportunities.
“The Whangarei and Ruakaka areas would boom and opportunities will spill over into the rest of the electorate.” says Davis.
“This opportunity, considered alongside the Government’s purchase of KiwiRail shows that Labour has a plan for the future of the country.
Our policy announcements are not random, they are part of a systematic plan to keep New Zealand moving in to the future. It is a plan that Kiwis can trust.”
