Put families first all the time
Family Party leader Richard Lewis addressed an enthusiastic audience at the Eden AOG political forum held in Mt Eden last night.
Along with other political representatives, Mr Lewis and deputy leader Paul Adams were given an opportunity to outline the Family Party message.
“I was privileged to speak at this event three years ago and recall the theme being very much about the importance of family. Yet over the last term there has been very little come out of Parliament to strengthen families. For us (the Family Party) it’s about focusing on New Zealand families all the time, not just in Election year,” said Mr Lewis.
Tonight (Monday 22nd September) Mr Lewis will speak at a Family Violence Forum being hosted by the Green Party and officiated by Rev Dr Hone Kaa. Speakers include MP’s Sue Bradford and William Sio. The event commences at 7.30pm at Church Hall located on the corner of Cape Road and Orley Avenue, Mangere.
