Family Party pre-election Conference
Sat 27th September 10am - 2pm
Metro Theatre, 351 Massey Rd, Mangere
The Family Party will hold its pre-election conference on Saturday 27th September 10am - 2pm, at the Metro Theatre 351 Massey Road, Mangere.
The party will outline priority policies and showcase its candidates.
Leader Richard Lewis says the conference is the culmination of nearly 12 months building the organisation towards its first election.
"We have every confidence of being well positioned for the final two months of campaigning. Our goal to win Mangere and/or East Coast Bays has been our focus. And of course, the Family Party will be pushing for a strong party-vote showing," says Mr Lewis.
Conference speakers will include Mr Lewis, deputy leader Paul Adams, party environment spokesman Samuel Dennis (Selwyn) and Mangere candidate Galumalemana Jerry Filipaina.
"The Family Party message is simple. Our aim is to reinstate traditional family values and to put families first again in Parliament. Our policies are wide-ranging with the underlying theme of building stronger families. Combined with excellent candidates, I believe the Family Party presents a compelling package for values-voters come November 8," he added.
The conference is open to the general public at no cost and will include music, entertainment and lunch.
