Inquiries Continue Into Suspicious Mail Items

Wellington Police are continuing inquiries into finding the person responsible for sending items in the mail suggesting the contents contained 1080 poison.
Detective Senior Sergeant Paul Borrell, Wellington CIB, said police are now aware that five locations in the Nelson area and four in Wellington received the items earlier this week.
Forensic investigations are continuing.
Wellington CIB is coordinating inquiries with police in Nelson as part of the investigation into finding the sender.
Police are not commenting on the specific detail of their investigation.
