Man Charged With Eastgate Pharmacy Robbery

A man was arrested yesterday and charged with the aggravated robbery of the Pharmacy at Eastgate Mall last Thursday plus other burglaries.
Detective Senior Sergeant Dave Harvey says that the 35 year old unemployed male ran from police. He broke into two properties during which he was apprehended by the owner at one of the addresses with Police in pursuit. He appeared in the Christchurch District Court this morning.
