The PSA welcomes the appointment of Iain Rennie as the new State Services Commissioner.
State Services Minister David Parker has today (5pm) announced that Iain Rennie, who is currently the Deputy State Services Commissioner, will take over from Mark Prebble as State Services Commissioner on July 1.
“We’ve had a good working relationship with Mark Prebble,” says Brenda Pilott. “We’ve appreciated that he has always been ready and willing to engage with the PSA.”
The PSA also appreciate Dr Prebble’s commitment to Partnership for Quality which involves the commission, the government and the PSA working together to provide decent work and decent workplaces in the public service so the staff can provide high value public services.
“We ‘re looking forward to working with Iain Rennie,” says Brenda Pilott.
“We hope that we can continue to enjoy the same positive, open working relationship that we’ve enjoyed with Dr Prebble.”
“We also wish Dr Preble well in his retirement from the public service at the end of June,” says Brenda Pilott.
