Five people appear in court today after a P Lab was located at an address in Hills Road last night.
Detective Senior Sergeant Brian Archer says that police executed a search warrant at two Hills Road addresses about 6.30- 6.45pm last night, actively seeking a person on warrants. While there they found evidence of equipment used in the manufacture of methamphetamine and the Decontamination Unit was brought in.
Five people, four male and one female, will appear in the Christchurch District Court this morning on charges relating to the manufacture of methamphetamine.
Police will spend today processing the scene. Hills Road was closed for some time but has now reopened.
DSS Archer say this is the ninth Meth lab located in Christchurch so far this year compared to six at the same time last year.
