National Selects Michael Woodhouse as Candidate

National Selects Michael Woodhouse Dunedin North Candidate
The National Party Southern Regional Chair is proud to announce that Michael Woodhouse has been selected as the National Party candidate for Dunedin North to contest the 2008 Election.
“The local National Party team and Dunedin North will be working hard to achieve a strong result for National in the electorate,” said Kate Hazlett, National Party Southern Regional Chair.
Michael was born and bred in Dunedin and is currently the CEO of Mercy Hospital. He is also the President of New Zealand Private Surgical Hospitals Association, and a chartered accountant who has previously held senior manager roles at ACC and Dunedin Hospital. He is one also of Otago’s most experienced premier rugby referees.
“I am committed to growing the Party Vote for National. I firmly believe that the country needs, and is ready for a change in direction and aspirational leadership. I want to help re-establish success as a noble value,” said Mr Woodhouse.
