"All I wanted from Barack Obama was someone whom I could have a traditional socialism-vs-free-market disagreement," says
SOLO-US spokesman Michael Vardoulis.
"I would much rather be criticizing Senator Obama for his being a New Deal leftist in the ancient and economically
disastrous school of FDR. I would like nothing more than to be able to challenge America's first Afro-American candidate
with a legitimate shot at the Presidency for nothing more than the typical crippling left-wing statism of the typical
Democratic Party candidate. But he is that *and* an accomplice to racism.
"I am truly disappointed that Senator Obama has tried to convince the American people that he wasn't aware of the racist
views and conspiracy theories of his Pastor of twenty years.
"I am also disappointed that within the same speech he purports to reject the bigotry of Reverend Jeremiah Wright while
refusing to disavow him.
"Unfortunately, Barack Hussein Obama has proven himself to be far more tolerant of racism than any American President
ever should be regardless of their ethnic ancestry or time in history," adds Vardoulis, "and all the while ironically
attempting to criticize America's racism.
"Senator Obama is condemned by his own words when he criticizes 'a politics that breeds division, and conflict, and
cynicism—or in other words, the politics of his 'former' Pastor whom he won't repudiate.
"Senator Obama goes so far as to equate Reverend Wright with his white grandmother, who I've no doubt had no pulpit
audience of thousands from which to preach *her* brand of racism and whom Senator Obama had no choice in being related
to. Worse still, Senator Obama tries to excuse Afro- American racism as a legitimate response to historical white racism
as if one is somehow less evil than the other, while also admitting his former pastor's comments 'reflect the
complexities of race in this country that we've never really worked through.'
Take note, Senator Obama: the 'complexities of race' in this country have not been 'worked through' largely *because* of
demagogues like your 'former' spiritual leader Reverend Wright, his Afro-American hate-filled contemporaries like Louis
Farrakhan, and his 'caucasian' hate-filled corollaries like David Duke. None of these acknowledge what Frederick
Douglass identified and Russian immigrant Ayn Rand further clarified: Racism is an evil, irrational and morally
contemptible doctrine, *regardless* of who is espousing it!
"Explaining the origin of black racism against whites no more justifies racism than explaining the origin of white
racism against blacks. Slavery was, as Obama put it in his recent speech, 'this nation's original sin', but there is no
excuse to allow that 'sin' to perpetuate its tribal and collectivist evil with yet more racism. In Rand's essay on
racism she makes a very relevant statement concerning so-called 'race' or 'minority- majority' relations which if fully
grasped by the American people, would cause the 'complexities of race' to be 'worked through;' in essence 'perfecting'
the union as Senator Obama put it. Again, Senator, take note, 'The smallest minority on earth is the individual. Those
who deny individual rights cannot claim to be defenders of minorities.'
"Until the rights of the individual *regardless of so-called 'racial' identity* are held supreme by our government (and
its President), no arbitrarily defined 'racial minority' will be protected, and the evils of racism will never be
'worked through' by the American people," Vardoulis concludes.
