Press Release
For Immediate Release.
Llewell versus Clark.
Dave Llewell Republican Party Chairman and candidate for Mt Albert will launch his challenge for the Prime Ministers Electorate this weekend.
“I see Helen Clark going the same way in New Zealand as John Howard did in Australia,” says Mr Llewell.
“With our Prime Minister showing obvious signs of confusion and distress, Mt Albert is going to be very contestable.  At this early stage of the 008 campaign I want to be one to let the Prime Minister know she is on her way.  Helen already knew she had a serious challenge coming from the Republicans for this electorate,” says Mr Llewell.
Just to reinforce this message I will make my first stop her electorate office at 11.00 am (tomorrow) Saturday Morning.
I will have this message for the PM,
“The Republicans have a pledge, and it is at no cost to the Tax Payer.”
Mr Llewell will announce the party’s election pledge on Saturday in conjunction with the opening of the Mt Albert Campaign.
