Press Release
For Immediate Release. King’s Legacy: Health Now, Justice Next!
Annette King has to be one of Labours most senior mess makers. If she delivers in Justice as she did in Health who will clean up after her, asks Republicans Tukituki candidate Karl Brett.
As Republicans health and associate Justice Spokesman Mr Brett is keeping a close eye on Ms King who appears to be able to move from portfolio to portfolio and escape responsibility for her ministerial mess making.
Mr. Brett as part of the Republicans Hawkes Bay team knows first hand the experiences many have in dealing with administration at HBDHB.
“Managerial decisions continuously reflect the wishes of central Government. The left hand is dictating to the right hand how to run this DHB.
RONZP again calls for a reduction in administrative positions in our DHB’s and appropriate remuneration to reflect the level of professional medical skills we need to attract to maintain a healthy health system.
“Currently, it appears that here in Hawkes Bay we want champagne but are only prepared to pay for Asti Spumante, says Mr Brett”
“It is time for change, to a party that is elected to guide the State on behalf of the people, not guile the people on behalf of the State. Republicans can deliver a healthy Health System. We are real people, we are practical people, not ideological academics,” says Mr Brett.
