The Kiwi Party Name Official
Kiwi Party Leader Larry Baldock welcomed the decision of the Electoral Commission today that the party’s registration is now official.
“We have had very good feed back to the new name as it conveys so clearly that we are an inclusive party for all New Zealanders,” said Mr Baldock.
“We can now look forward to our South Island conference in Christchurch on March 1 as ‘The Kiwi Party’. This will be the day after I have submitted more than 300,000 signatures for the Citizens Initiated Referenda petitions we have been organising over the last 12 months. We will have double cause for celebration.
At the conference I will be releasing some of our policies and plans that will give all Kiwis more say in the legislation being passed by Parliament in the future.
