New Zealand Police Alert: Body Part Located, Christchurch

Incident Type: Body Part Located
At approximately 14.10hrs on Sunday the 10th of February 2008 a member of the public walking with his family located a partially decomposed left leg of a human in the surf near the estuary at The Spit, South Shore, Christchurch.
Police have referred the case to the christchurch Corner and Pathologist in order to establish it's origin. Enquires are continuing
