Jackson Talks To Tame Iti
Radio Waatea broadcaster Willie Jackson talks to Tuhoe activist Tame Iti in his first in-depth radio interview conducted in English since his release from jail following the 'Tuhoe Raids.'
Tame responds frankly to the claim that he is a terrorist, discusses the issue of Tuhoe 'Mana Motuhake' and explains what he'll be doing on Waitangi Day. The interview features in Waatea's weekly current affairs programme, 'Paakiwaha' today at 10am.
Paakiwaha is hosted by Willie Jackson and broadcast by Radio Waatea with funding from New Zealand on Air. Listen to Radio Waatea (603AM) in Auckland on Mondays 10am-12pm.
